In the Kortex Affiliate program, you receive 50% recurring commission for 12 months on every paying customer who signs up through your link. Your affiliate link has 60 day cookies. In other words, people who click on your link will have 60 days to upgrade their account for you to receive commission.

Here's how the Kortex Affiliate Program works:

Step 1) Sign Up

Anyone can join the Kortex affiliate program, even if you don't use the app. Of course, we recommend that you have an understanding of note-taking, writing, PKM tools, or AI tools in general.

Here's what you do:

  1. Sign up for the Kortex affiliate program here.
  2. You can always access your affiliate dashboard here.

Fill out the form with as much detail as you can.

Step 2) Promote Your Link

Let's make this simple.

The way you make the most as an affiliate is by:

  1. Generating as much relevant traffic as possible to your affiliate link.
  2. Educating them after the fact to stay as a user and upgrade to a paid tier.

We handle most of the education after they sign up, so your main focus will be on number 1.

Of course, it doesn't hurt to offer your own education, so we will go over that as well.

If you want a Kortex Document with all of this information + content templates you can swipe... duplicate this document to your Kortex.

We also talk strategy inside the affiliate channel inside the Kortex Discord.

Here is a list of ways for you to promote and experiment with:

1) Include your affiliate link in your LinkTree or on your website.

If you haven't already, it's smart to include your affiliate link anywhere you can.

Your LinkTree, your homepage under the tools you use, your blog sidebar, all of your YouTube descriptions, etc.

2) Create tutorials on YouTube based on high-performing content.

Note-taking, productivity, and second brain content works.

If you want a proven path to growing an audience and monetizing it, research high-performing content about:

  • Productivity systems
  • Writing or content creation systems
  • Second brain systems
  • Notion, Obsidian, or other note-taking tutorials

Then, recreate it with Kortex. You can talk about the exact same topics – which means you are more likely to get traffic – by using Kortex as the main example instead of something else.

If you use Kortex for a specific purpose, teaching that is a great way to start.

3) Create social media content and plug your link.

This is the most accessible option for people.

In short, create content on:

  • Writing
  • Productivity
  • Your favorite software or tools
  • Knowledge management and note-taking
  • Whatever you use Kortex for yourself (like writing content, emails, or YouTube scripts)

Then, plug your link at a relevant time.

On X, Threads, or LinkedIn you probably want to wait an hour or two, then write a short call to action and plug your link under the original post as a comment.

It can be as simple as:

"This is what I use to capture and organize all of my ideas and writing." With your affiliate link after.

On something like Instagram, it's easier to show your setup in Kortex and add a link to your story.

4) Create free downloads for your audience.

You can either:

  • Link to Kortex in a free course, ebook, or training. Like if your free download is "How I organize ideas."
  • Give people Kortex templates as your free download.
  • Or, eventually, you will be able to give users access to an entire workspace as a product or download.

If you don't know how or where to host a free download, you can:

  1. Use a platform like Stan that allows you to create free or paid products and sell them. They have built in landing pages to link your audience to for the download.
  2. Use an email software like Beehiiv or Convertkit and send them a link to your free download when they join your list. You can simply include the link in your welcome email.

Now, the more people that download your free product the more people see your affiliate link.

5) Write articles or newsletters and plug your link.

The thing with something like Kortex is that you can always find a way to bake in your link. If you talk about productivity, you can subtly slip in "Here's what I use to plan my days" and include a template if you feel like it.

Whenever you mention something that can be related to Kortex, you can plug your link as a tool you use.

6) Build a course and use Kortex to offer templates.

Many people use Notion to provide templates for the courses they build, but they're often bloated and confusing – people don't use the templates after a certain amount of time.

And, other note-taking software don't offer affiliate links. You might as well make a supplemental income to your courses by promoting your link.

You can either recreate videos for your current course to surprise your students with a course update, or create a course on writing, productivity, note-taking, content creation, or whatever else you use Kortex for.

7) Create viral content about the app and send people to your link.

We aren't TikTok marketing experts, but some affiliates do incredibly well by making relatable videos that subtly show off the Kortex app.

Videos like:

  • "I can't believe I've been writing in Notion for so long, check this out…"
  • "Okay, I've been sending myself text messages to remember ideas, but I found Kortex and it does it better."

Things like that. Videos where you showcase the pain points Kortex solves, the benefits of using it, and the every day use case you use it for.

In those videos, you can tell people to go to the link in your bio to try it out.

The more authentic and real this seems, the better for conversions.

Step 3) Earn Commissions

We pride ourselves in providing 50% recurring commissions for 12 months for every person who becomes a paying customer through your link.

The more you share and create educational content around Kortex, the more you'll make.

If you ever have any questions, feel free to ask them in the affiliates channel in the Kortex Discord!
