If you're looking to import your workspace from Notion to Kortex, we've got you covered.

Before we start, please keep in mind that we do not have database functionality. All pages will be imported separately. Once you complete your import, you may have to reorganize or rename these documents accordingly.

Kortex isn't a full replacement for Notion's capabilities. It is a replacement for storing ideas, writing, and synthesizing multiple sources. Many of our users have reported that they keep their project management inside of Notion. They believe that an app that does "everything" doesn't do everything well. They've found clarity having a separate app for their ideas, notes, and writing.

With that said, you have two options for importing your Notion workspace into Kortex.

First, navigate to Settings > Import inside of Kortex.

Option 1: Import Your Entire Notion Workspace

Navigate to your workspace settings and click "Export all workspace content".

Make sure "Create folders for subpages" is enabled and the format is "Markdown & CSV".

After hitting "Export," you will receive an email with a download link. Download the zip file and upload it in your Kortex import settings.

Option 2: Exporting A Single Page From Your Workspace

If you are only looking to import part of your workspace, specifically a page and its subpages, you may do so by first visiting the page and clicking the three dots on the top right corner, which will bring up this menu:

Similarly, make sure the export options match the following:

After hitting "Export," you will receive an email with a download link. Download the zip file and upload it in your Kortex import settings.

That's it!

Organize your workspace to your liking and see the deep features Kortex has to offer.
