It's here.
Our biggest and most powerful release to date.
While you may enjoy the bug fixes and minor UI changes (Elements, as an example, look much more elegant) we think you'll like the big stuff like:
Here are the details:
You can now switch between models inside of chats like:
We have a few others like Perplexity Sonar Pro and Deep Research ready to go, but those will be released soon.
Each of these models have their own strengths and weaknesses. Claude is great at writing and creativity, ChatGPT o1 and o3-mini are great at complex tasks, Deepseek models are great at most things. Try them all out!
For now, due to the cost of these models, they are only available for Premium subscribers while we gauge overall usage and costs.
Premium subscribers get 500 total requests for these new models and unlimited Gemini usage as they already have been. This is a similar usage limit as other software like Cursor until we find what suits our own needs.
Once we implement credit based billing (so you are only charged based on what you use beyond what your tier allows, which many may not even hit), they will be released to the Kore tier as well.
As a reminder, Kore and Premium pricing will increase when the usage based billing model is implemented. Current subscribers will not have their price increased. Your rate is locked in.
When you navigate to "Chat" inside of Kortex, you will now see a new UI.
Older chats can now be found in the dropdown under the "Chat" button.
We have created 25+ AI workflows for creating, marketing, planning, learning, and more like:
And much more.
My favorites are "Recreate A YouTube Video With Your Ideas" and the "YouTube, Newsletter, or Article Draft" flows.
In short, Kortex now supercharges your creative business and productivity.
Yes, you can now talk to PDFs with kAI.
This is especially powerful for research or using the "Reading Companion" AI flow.
Note: unfortunately, PDFs that you have already added to your library have not been indexed. For now, you will have to reupload the PDF to your library in order for it to reference it with kAI.
As requested, capture is now back in it's own place.
This is where you can jot down ideas without having AI respond back to you and organize them by connecting them to specific documents using "@."
You can also switch between your Capture Inbox and different chats if you want to send your messages to a different place.
When you select messages or captures using the arrow keys, there is a new "Move To" option that allows you to move those messages to different chats, or to your capture inbox.
If you have any captures you want to move into your Capture Inbox, you can do so with this Move To feature.
You can also press Ctrl or Command+A to select all messages in a chat when you have one message selected. That way, you can move all messages to a new chat if you'd like.
If you have one chat where you keep all of your Captures, you can now move those to your main Capture Inbox.
This would be a good time to declutter your captures.
With the previous Search menu update (Ctrl or Command+K) that made search results faster and more granular paired with the kAI chats update, you weren't able to search within chats.
You can now search within specific chats and filter accordingly.
Also, if you are inside of a chat and open the search menu, it will automatically filter for messages within that chat!
